Tracking Added Repair Lines

Autosoft DMS has the ability to track and report any repair lines added to repair orders after the repair order is created and printed. This allows you to easily track upsells and warranty added operations on your repair orders.

Any repair lines manually added after the initial repair order has been created and printed or dumped from a quote to the already printed repair order are flagged so when you click Print from the Enter Conditions screen, the print options include Add-Ons Only

Selecting Add-Ons Only prints the RO number, RO date, advisor, technician, customer, vehicle, added operation line details, pay type, and parts and labor amounts for the repair lines added after the initial repair order was printed. 

To access this feature:

Step 1. From the Service Writing menu, select Repair Orders. The Repair Orders menu opens.

Step 2. Click Start Conditions. The Enter Conditions screen opens.

Step 3. Enter the repair order number in the R/O field or click R/O List to select the already printed repair order from the Active R/Os list by clicking on the repair order. 

Step 4. In the Repair field, type the next repair line in succession to the last one originally added to the repair. If the repair order already had three repair lines listed, enter 4. The Added Op checkbox will now display a check.

Step 5. Type the Menu code for the repair line or use the Menus button to find and select the repair line menu code and description. 

Step 6. Use the fields in the lower-left of the screen to enter additional repair line details and click Save Repair. 

Step 7. Repeat steps 4 through 6 for additional repair lines. 

Step 8. When you're done adding repair lines to the repair order, click Print

Step 9. The system will prompt you to verify that your printer is ready. Click Add-Ons Only.
