If a repair order contains more than 12 lines or requires more than 36 parts, a continuation repair order must be created.
Step 1. From the Service Writing main menu, click Repair Orders.
Step 2. On the Repairs Orders menu, click Continuations.
Step 3. In the Current R/O field, enter the current repair order number. A new, separate repair order will be created for that customer.
Step 4. The new repair order will need to be closed in addition to the original repair order.
Step 5. The two repair orders will be connected on the Review and Print screen in the See Also fields in the R/O section at the top of the page.
