RTE Incorrect Syntax near “ “ is an error that occurs in Finance Assistant. The error typically results when the information entered in to Vehicle Information screen in the Accounting module contains an apostrophe, usually under Previous Owner.
Step 1. From the FLEX DMS main menu, click Accounting.
Step 2. Click Vehicle Inventory from the Dealership Accounting main menu.
Step 3. Click Vehicle Information.
Step 4. Locate the apostrophe and delete it.
Step 5. Click Save.
Step 6. If you are using Finance Assistant, pull up Inventory.
Step 7. Hit the green Sync button.
Step 8. Reselect the vehicle in the deal.
