Step 1. Go to Parts main menu
Step 2. Choose Reports
Step 3. Select Inventory Analysis
Step 4. Click Age Analysis
Step 5. Enter Subsource or leave blank for all
Step 6. The parts are grouped in aging categories of 0 to 3 months, 4 to 6 months, 7 to 9 months, 10 to 12 months, 13 to 18 months, 19 to 24 months, and over 24 months old. It also lists the total part numbers and cost for the full inventory and the inventory over 365 days old.
Step 7. You can click any line to view a list of parts in the aging category. When viewing the detail for a line, a single asterisk (*) next to extended value (Ext) indicates the value includes the on-hand quantity of part as well as clean and dirty core values associated with this part. Two asterisks (**) next to the on-hand quantity (O/H) indicate the value is related to dirty cores only and there is a negative on-hand quantity of actual part. If there is a zero (0) on-hand quantity with dirty cores associated with the part, the report will show “0” (zero) as the on-hand quantity. The cost displayed is the cost of the part. The extended value (Ext) will be the value of the dirty cores, and there will be a single asterisk (*) next to that extended value.
