Fixed Ops Tip: Accessing the Full Cycle Inventory Process Manual
You can run a full cycle parts inventory in four simple steps:
Step 1. From the Parts Inventory main menu, select Special Inventories.
Step 2. The Special Inventories & Maintenance menu will open. Select Cycle Inventory.
Step 3. The Cycle Physical Inventory menu will open. To access a detailed, step-by-step list of directions for running the full cycle inventory, press the F1 key on your keyboard to open the Help screen for the menu.
Step 4. Click the Full Cycle Inventory link to open the Full Cycle Inventory Process manual. You can print of save the document from your PDF reader for future reference.
IT Services Tip: Starting the Year with a Full Backup
The beginning of the year is a good time to make sure you have a backup of all your important files. Using a flash drive or external hard drive is a simple and inexpensive way to back up your files and ensure you won’t lose anything important if you encounter a problem. After completing your backup, be sure to physically separate the backup device from the computer it has backed up so that your data is kept in two different locations.
