Updating an Employee Name in the Time Clock

If you change an employee's name on the employee master file screen, the time clock will not reflect that change. You will have to make the change directly in the time clock application. To do this, follow these steps:

Step 1. From the Dealership Accounting main menu, select Payroll.

Step 2. The Dealership Payroll menu will open. Click Employee Information

Step 3. Select Employee Master File from the Employee Information menu. The Employee Information screen will open. 

Step 4. Enter the employee's number in the Employee Number field, or click Employee List and select the employee from the list that opens. 

Step 5. Make the necessary name change and enter through the rest of the fields on the screen. When you get to the bottom of the screen, click Save

Step 6. Navigate back to the Dealership Payroll menu. 

Step 7. Select Times/Commissions.

Step 8. On the Times/Commissions menu, click Time Clock. The Time Clock menu will open.

Step 9. Click Setup

Step 10. The Time Clock Setup screen will open. Select the employee from the list on the right side of the screen and click Save
