Addressing the "Invalid Printer Selection" Message

When making printer and tray selections in the Service module, if you encounter an "invalid printer selection" message, you may find that the printer selections you've made will not hold. To address this issue, follow these steps:

Step 1. From the Autosoft DMS startup menu, select Settings & Utilities

Step 2. Click Settings on the File Utilities & Settings menu. The Printer Setup screen will open. 

Step 3. Click the Service tab. The Service Printer Setup parameters will open. 

Step 4. Ensure that printer and tray selections have been made for ALL the copies. 

Step 5. Even if your shop does not use a static label printer, you must still select a printer and tray for the Static Label option. Leaving a tray selection blank will cause the "Invalid Printer Selection" error. 

Step 6. When you've selected a printer and tray for each copy, click Back. Your selections will be saved.
