To print a list of Parts accounts receivable items and find the oldest of those items, you’ll need to access the accounts receivable schedules and print a short list.
Step 1. From the Dealership Accounting main menu, select Trade Receivables.
Step 2. On the Trade Customer Receivables menu, click Print Receivables Schedule.
Step 3. The Print Receivables Schedule will open. Select Print Short List.
Step 4. When the system asks you to verify that your printer is ready, select To Printer to print a hardcopy, To Screen to view a PDF of the report (which you can then save or print), or Export to Excel to export and save the document as a Microsoft Excel file.
Step 5. Click Print Without Post Aheads to exclude post aheads from the report or Print Including Post Aheads to include post aheads in the report. The report will be generated. This may take some time.
At the end of the report, you’ll find a breakdown of the accounts receivable that are marked as Parts, Service, and Body Shop. Only those accounts that have a balance will print, but they will not print in age order.
